Founded in 2015, Mujeres Acá Entre Nos is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reshaping futures by empowering mujeres through healing, connection, and transformation. We believe in the strength of community and the power of women supporting one another to break cycles and lead empowered lives. Through our programs, we create safe spaces where Latinas can grow emotionally, mentally, and physically, embracing their full potential.
Why I Created Mujeres Aca Entre Nos

I grew up in a family that looked perfect from the outside, but behind closed doors, it was far from it. I was raised in an environment where I was told to keep it together, to stay quiet, and not show the pain I was carrying. I had no voice, no safe space, and very few real relationships just toxic cycles that followed me into adulthood. That silence led me into two failed marriages, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, and a string of stumbling blocks that caused me to unknowingly repeat the same patterns with my own children.
But in the midst of it all, I had a life-altering encounter with the Lord. Through my healing process, I discovered a truth that changed everything: healing cannot happen in isolation, it happens in community. As I surrendered my pain and found my voice, I knew I had to create a space where other women could do the same. I realized I wasn’t the only one who had been silently struggling, and my heart began to burn for other women like me.
With God as my foundation, I created Mujeres Aca Entre Nos, a space for us as Latina women to be real, to heal, and to walk together in sisterhood. This isn’t just a nonprofit. It’s a community rooted in faith, vulnerability, and transformation. My hope is that every woman who connects with us knows that healing is not only possible, it’s waiting for you, just like it was waiting for me.
Our mission is clear: to remind every woman that they are not alone, and that healing is not only possible, it is promised when we walk with faith and community.
Our Reach & Future Goals
Currently, Mujeres Acá Entre Nos has one active chapter in San Diego, where we continue to create meaningful impact. But we don't want to stop here. Our vision extends far beyond one city. We are determined to expand to different cities and states, bringing our mission to communities everywhere and creating a ripple effect of empowerment, healing, and growth across the nation.
At Mujeres Acá Entre Nos, we are more than just a program, we are a movement. We are committed to making a lasting, positive impact for mujeres today and for generations to come, creating a wave of change that will be felt everywhere. The journey has only just begun.
As we continue to grow our dream is to create a space of our own, a sacred hub where healing begins the moment you walk through the door, a place that feels like safety, and being seen. We envision a warm, welcoming center where women can breathe, rest, and be reminded that they are not alone.
In this space, we will offer more than just classes or programs. We will offer hope. For the woman who feels lost. For the mother carrying silent pain. For the one who’s holding it all together but breaking inside.
This hub will be built on love, faith, and community, a reflection of everything Mujeres Aca Entre Nos stands for. It will be a home where cycles are broken, voices are found, and healing becomes a shared journey. This is more than a goal. It’s our calling.
